Description
The Head of Data Engineering will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead the design and implementation of the company's data engineering strategy.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and availability..
- Drive the hiring, training, and development of the data engineering team.
- Promote data-driven decision making across the company.
- Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in data engineering.
Profile
A successful Head of Data Engineering should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Profound knowledge of database architecture and data warehousing.
- Previously lead data engineering teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiar with: FastAPI, Airflow,
