Description

The Head of Data Engineering will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Lead the design and implementation of the company's data engineering strategy.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and availability..
• Drive the hiring, training, and development of the data engineering team.
• Promote data-driven decision making across the company.
• Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in data engineering.

Profile

A successful Head of Data Engineering should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Profound knowledge of database architecture and data warehousing.
• Previously lead data engineering teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiar with: FastAPI, Airflow,
