This position is for a Disrepair Specialist to join the Damp & Disrepair team within a well known Northern Housing Association.

Description

  • Identifying and assessing damp and disrepair issues in properties.
  • Planning and executing repair and remediation works.
  • Coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects.
  • Ensuring all works comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Producing detailed reports on completed works.
  • Communicating effectively with residents regarding repair works.
  • Contributing to team meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
  • Expert Witness/Court attendance when required

Profile

A successful Damp & Disrepair team member should have:

  • A strong understanding of construction industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience in identifying and fixing damp and disrepair issues.
  • The ability to coordinate with other team members and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong contract management skills.
  • Expert witness experience is REQUIRED.
