Our client is searching for a competent and enthusiastic Junior Carbon Consultant to play a role within their carbon team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry, preferably gained within an environmental or energy consultancy, with an excellent knowledge of the UK energy industry.

Job responsibilities for a Graduate Carbon Consultant:

  • To assist in the data entry required for SECR and CCA compliance and to produce
    reports for clients
  • Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to obtain energy and information.
    It is desirable to also have experience of SECR, CCA's and Carbon Footprinting
    projects
  • To technically support on projects and to be able to work alongside account
    managers who will present back the completed work.
  • To carry out energy assessments and provide energy opportunities in a supporting
    role
  • Carry out energy audits accompanied with one of our experienced consultants

The ideal Junior/Graduate Carbon Consultant will:

  • Have knowledge of the CDP disclosure system
  • Have a degree in Engineering
  • Have knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks such as SECR and the TCFD recommendations and associated disclosure requirements.
  • Have quality technical writing skills and be able to draft client-facing reports to a high standard.
  • Be local to Manchester or willing to commute
