A successful geotechnical and geoscience firm with growing offices across the UK is seeking a senior consultant to join a bustling office in the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the protection and improvement of the environment whilst also thriving in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Phase 1/2 report writing
- Work on diverse and impactful projects, ranging from residential developments to renewable energy installations such as solar and wind farms.
- Perform Coal Mining Risk Assessments
- Develop Remediation Strategies
- Create Validation Reports
- Carry out Geotechnical Assessments
- Engage in bearing capacity and settlement calculations
- Execute ground gas assessments and mining studies
- Analyze soil and groundwater concentrations

Requirements:
