The Horse and Jockey is a family-friendly, local pub with award winning beers and a very successful and growing fresh food concept. The 500-year-old building is bustling with history, including our very own Bootleg microbrewery located in the base of the pubs original tower brewery.With a strong emphasis on the fresh food menu alongside a buzzing wet trade and dog friendly areas.The Horse and Jockey has recently had a stunning refurbishment and is a premium business within the Joseph Holt estate.
With over 175 years of brewing mastery, Joseph Holt is the expert in making the perfect pint, and we're on the lookout for passionate individuals like you to master the art of pulling it.
Your role won't just be about supporting the Manager you'll be a driving force, motivating and leading the team to new heights. As the Assistant Manager, you'll be at the forefront of boosting sales and maintaining impeccable standards in service, food, and, of course, beer. 6 months Supervisor or Assistant Manager experience in the hospitality industry
Be able to work evenings and weekends
Passionate about pubs and selling Beer
Enthusiasm to lead and motivate your team
Previous Kitchen experience is great but not essential, or a willingness to learn
