Role – Executive Assistant (Legal)

Location – Manchester City Centre (Hybrid working)

Type – Permanent

Hours – 9am – 5pm – Monday – Friday (35 hours)

Salary – up to £27,000-£31,000 plus excellent benefits 

REED are currently working with a top 50 law firm with new, modern and spacious offices in central Manchester.

This role provides comprehensive Executive Assistant services to the local teams.  To succeed in the role, you will work closely with Team Leaders and Regional Executive Services Managers and utilise the internal resources available to you including the Document Production team, Administrative Assistants and Business Services. 

While you will have a degree of autonomy in how you structure your day, you will still be an integral part of the team you work in.  You will be expected to be aligned with the values of the firm, have a good level of client knowledge, strong relationships across the business and, where appropriate, with clients. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, managing and prioritising own workflow, delegating relevant tasks
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant documentation is available.
  • Responsible for ensuring all client finance is up to date.
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, itineraries and meeting papers including chasing any pending items to ensure lawyers have adequate time for planning.
  • Ensure lawyers diaries are managed and maintained, including but not limited to organising/arranging events/travel, ensuring all ancillary arrangements made, work and activities are scheduled, any potential challenges resolved to make the lawyers¿ day to day working easier to manage.
  • Responsible for compliance
  • Ensure outstanding attention to detail, sense and quality check all work and identify quality issues and address problems prior to lawyer review.
