Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Manchester, UK. What you'll do:

As our client's new Senior FP&A Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of a newly formed commercial department. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial business partnering support, enabling informed financial planning and decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in accurately forecasting revenue and contract profitability, identifying risks, managing budgets, and formulating strategic business plans. Additionally, you will provide valuable commercial analysis and insights to leadership teams, aiding in the achievement of corporate KPIs that drive revenue and profitability.

  • Act as a commercial business partner to key stakeholders across the group
  • Support all financial planning and decision-making across the team
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of revenue and contract profitability
  • Identify, track, and manage risks and opportunities to Budgets and Forecasts
  • Provide informative commercial analysis and insight to leadership teams
  • Recommend cost reduction strategies and assess their potential impacts
  • Coordinate and translate growth initiatives
  • Work closely with leadership teams to formulate financial business plans

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in day-to-day financial planning and analysis in a large business
  • Solid commercial acumen including supporting pricing and developing business cases for investments
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining financial planning and reporting models in Planning Analytics or other similar finance BI tools e.g., Anaplan, UI Path, Alteryx
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Evidence of strong business partnering with the ability to influence decision makers
