Ideally you will have previous experience in a similarrole including exposure to stock management, vehicle loading and delivery schedules.
Main Duties:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including picking, goods receipt, stock management, and order dispatch.
- Organise and manage customer orders on overnight carriers.
- Ensure accurate stock movements and inventory control.
- Train and develop team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
- Manage yard and booking systems, coordinating resources and scheduling deliveries.
- Experience in warehouse operations, stock/yard management, and delivery scheduling.
- Strong admin skills with data processing and paperwork management.
- Ability to interpret numerical data (e.g., stock levels, delivery weights).
- Forklift truck certification and IT/database knowledge preferred.
- UK driving licence (HGV/CPC a plus).
