This rapidly growing Top 20 firm are looking to expand their accounts team and are now seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who have experience in both audit and accounts and wants to consolidate their knowledge and take it to the next level by building on their advisory, client management and supervisory skills

This is a fast paced, client facing role offering varied work from year end compliance through to ad-hoc advisory work with Landed Estates and Trust clients across the North West.

Your role as an Accounts Assistant Manager:

  • Working closely with the Partner, you will be responsible for supervising the preparation of year-end financial statements.
  • Work with Landed Estates and Trust clients, you will be responsible for supervising the preparation of year-end financial statements
  • Inter team communication and conducting accounts duties for audits.
  • Working on financial reporting and advisory duties.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships with both clients and different members of the team including tax and audit.
  • Oversee, mentor and coach junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will be ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience of preparing consolidated accounts and preferably with some audit experience.
  • Accounts production software such as CCH.
  • Existing experience working with Landed Estates and Trust clients or an interest in moving into that sector.
  • Existing experience of leading junior members of staff in an assistant manager position.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
