Accounts Payable Manager | £40,000-£50,000 + benefits | Media business | Manchester (2 days in the office) | Permanent role
A PTP Manager is required to work for a leading Media business based in Manchester (hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office). This is a newly created role with the main priority of this role is to drive efficiency and compliance throughout the Purchase To Pay processes.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a team of 7 direct reports across expenses, master data and purchasing support. You will be responsible for driving change across your business areas and ensuring the business is adhering to newly created policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, work closely with internal teams, and actively seek process improvements to enhance PTP compliance.
- Lead and manage 7 team members across 3 teams (Expenses, Master Data Management, and Purchasing Support) to ensure performance goals are met, deadlines are achieved, and process compliance is improved, while supporting individual development through regular reviews and coaching.
- Design and deliver compliance training, promote company policies, and ensure alignment across teams on best practices and non-compliance consequences.
- Maintain and review Standard Operating Process notes for team processes, ensuring clarity and communication of changes to the Global Process Owner.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within Accounts Payable and / or PTP Team management and have significant understanding of the end to end requisition to pay process. You will have experience of managing a team and working for a larger, more complex business is essential. You must have experience analysing large data sets as well as driving change and implementing new processes within a P2P/ accounts payable function. You will be a clear communicator with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders across the business.
