ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - BUSINESS MODELLING & ANALYICS

UP TO £90,000

MANCHESTER

This is an exciting new opportunity to join this companies Business Modelling and Analytics team as part of the Financial Advisory body. You will support across all business modelling and enable better decision making.

THE COMPANY

The company is one of the big four consultancies offering a range of products including audit, risk advisory, tax, legal, and corporate finance. You will be working in one of the most experience teams in the field and gain exposure to blue chip clients across a range of sectors.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:

  • Analysing the financial implications of various strategic alternatives.
  • Developing transaction models for acquisitions and separations at key stages throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conducting corporate and financial restructuring, including evaluating different funding options such as debt and equity.
  • Modelling an organisation's working capital requirements and cash flows.
  • Identifying, quantifying, and modelling synergies, including their realisation and value capture.
  • Creating business cases to support investment decisions and prioritise resources.
  • Managing model risk through the development of robust model frameworks.
  • Contributing to business growth through business development initiatives

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in a financial modelling team.
  • Experience developing and/or reviewing models with financial statements.
  • ACA Exam qualified.
  • Strong business diagnostic skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with VBA, SQL, Python as desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
