Claims Team ManagerA Claims Team Manager is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a leading Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.My client is an award winning, international law firm with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Claims Manager to supervise a team of Defendant, Casualty EL/PL Fee Earners. You will lead, encourage, mentor and develop all members of the team to their maximum potential to ensure the team meets its objectives and delivers their work standards as agreed in the client’s SLA.Duties will include:• Monthly 121 performance review• Setting objectives, monitoring performance, providing feedback and supporting professional development• Holding team meetings• Planning & distributing workload• Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and best practices• Staying up-to-date with legal developments• Acting as the first point of contact for client complaints• Managing capacity & recruitmentPrior experience in a supervisory or management role will be beneficial, however we are also happy to consider experienced Solicitors/Fee Earners who are looking to progress into management.
