Commercial Finance Manager | South MCR (4 days in office) | 55,000 - 60,000

Axon Moore have partnered with a global, market leading business just south of central Manchester who have a requirement for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

With 1 direct report, you will not only have ownership of monthly management accounts, but you will have a large emphasis adding value to 5-10 senior stakeholders advising on commercial decisions, maximising profitability and preparing budgets & forecasts.

Role brief:
  • Producing management accounts and monthly balance sheet reviews in line with Group deadlines and monthly balance sheet reviews in line with group deadlines, challenging and supporting the processes as appropriate
  • Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Work with senior management teams to reflect all activity within the division, ensuring that items such as variations, rechargeable works and major project activity are represented accurately.
  • Business partnering with operational management, assisting in driving performance and supporting with commercial decisions
  • Seek to continually improve processes to eliminate administration burden and identify process efficiencies
  • Ensure financial control environment is maintained and enhanced
Ideal candidate:
  • Ability to communicate confidently and build relationships across a variety of operational teams in the business
  • Solid management accounts experience
  • SAP experience is desirable
