Our valued client, an entrepreneurial and highly reputable corporate finance boutique with an enviable global client base, are keen to appoint a first-class Corporate Finance Manager. This is a key appointment - you will be directly involved in advising on board strategy and providing opinion on emerging deals.

This highly impressive organisation is sophisticated in it’s delivery. They operate on both the buy and sell-side and work with UK and international clients, in all sectors including technology, AI, healthcare, retail and manufacturing. Other client services include fundraising for early-stage investments, investor relations and advising major plc’s on large deals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a highly experienced and hugely successful leadership team. You will be pivotal in helping set a positive and diligent working culture to support the growth of the business.

The role:

Reporting directly to and proving support to the business owners, the primary role focus of this exciting opportunity is to lead and take full deal ownership (from start to completion). You will act as the primary client contact and enable team members to be involved in all aspects of the transaction. This includes providing guidance and support on detailed financial modelling and negotiating with external advisors (private equity).

Key duties include:

  • Providing expert corporate finance advice and guidance to clients.
  • Liaising directly with professional advisers, potential buyers and acquisition targets.
  • Overseeing sector and company research, financial analysis and the development of financial models.
  • Overseeing the production of high-quality documents and reports for transactions, such as business plans, information memoranda and investment presentations.
  • Leading meetings with clients and funders, participating in lead advisory negotiations and handling SPA, heads of terms, funds flows and completions.
  • Overseeing the research and identification of potential funders and buyers/sellers.
  • Managing and supporting the development of junior team members.
