Finance & Operations Manager £40,000pa DoEManchester 1 day WFH per weekWe are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to join one of Manchester's most dynamic companies, You will have experience in a similar role overseeing daily operations and providing internal support for the business on accounts and HR.If you are

  • A proactive person by nature, extremely organised, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 and Xero Accounting.
  • A great communicator, fluent in written & spoken English.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and a team player.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, or a related field

You day will consist of

  • Xero - Invoicing, credit control, reconciliation.
  • Overseeing the company and interrelated bank accounts and day to day payments;
  • Payroll management & pension scheme.
  • Main contact between the company and the external accountants, providing assistance/answering queries for the preparation of VAT returns, monthly management accounts etc.
  • Review and approve invoices for payment and set up monthly supplier pay runs.
  • Managing office costs and credit card spending.
  • Overseeing high-level HR duties.
  • Arrange and be present in interviews with the head of the relevant department.
  • Manage the onboarding process including Right to Work checks, set up with payroll, drafting employment contracts.
  • Manage annual leave requests and sick leave.
  • Take ownership of the Staff Handbook and update policies when necessary.
