Finance Partner - Manchester - £60,000-£70,000 + BenefitsOur client, an innovative payments and technology company, is seeking a Finance Partner to join their expanding team in Manchester City Centre. As a Commercial Financial Business Partner, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams across the organisation to ensure the achievement of business goals.What's on offer?

How you'll make an impact:

  • Reporting to the Head of FP&A for International Payments, you will act as a commercial business partner to the International Payments team, enabling and supporting all financial planning and decision making.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of revenue and profitability, identifying and managing risks and opportunities to budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct pricing and deal modelling, including impact on balance and shareholder return thresholds in negotiations.
  • Provide insightful commercial analysis and support leadership teams in achieving revenue and profitability goals, including customer segmentation.
  • Support business casing and investment appraisal, such as Capital Planning Process (CPP) and Account profitability.
  • Coordinate and translate growth initiatives, recommending cost reduction strategies.
  • Formulate financial business plans in collaboration with leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for complex analysis across the business.
  • Develop sales commission plans for International payments in partnership with management.

Experience/Key Competencies:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or global equivalent) with PQE in day-to-day financial planning and analysis in a global company environment, ideally from a Fintech background.
  • Recent experience in the Planning function within financial services industries is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing support and business case development.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and reporting models using Planning Analytics or similar BI tools (e.g., Anaplan, UI Path, Alteryx).
  • Advanced Excel skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in strong business partnering and influence decision makers.
  • Judgement, drive, and influence to effectively communicate key messages.
  • Ambitious and eager to grow and develop, seeking opportunities for advancement and assisting others.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach, displaying flexibility and creativity.
  • Energy, commitment, and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
