As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights, cost analysis, and strategic support to senior stakeholders. This role will enable teams to deliver against their targets and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partnering: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Cost Analysis & Control: Monitor, analyse, and challenge cost variances, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts across departments and products.
- Revenue Optimization: Work closely with commercial teams to identify opportunities for margin improvement, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis on cost trends, operational efficiencies, and business performance using key financial and non-financial metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to ensure financial performance is understood.
- Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the business.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
You have:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Proven experience in finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial modeling, cost accounting, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with senior management and non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
