YOU will be working with a true entrepreneur and need to be a real finance LEADER, driving a growing business with a diverse product/service offering

YOU will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for a £160 million turnover family business including: financial reporting; management accounts, cash flow; budgeting and forecasting.

  • Form a close working relationship with other members of the Exec Team.
  • Drive the financial planning and growth strategy of the business by analysing its performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Planning, preparation and output of monthly and annual accounts, forecasts, budgets, and statutory accounts.
  • Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to proactively identify prevent issues and problems.
  • Contribute fully to the development of company strategy and plans across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
  • Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
  • To ensure the business complies with regulatory standards and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and international suppliers.
  • To prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for the business as and when required.
