We are exclusively partnering with a leading business in the hospitality sector in the appoint of an Interim Finance Director.

Your primary focus will be to set up and lead the finance function for one of their European entities.

You will ensure the company's finance function is running effectively with robust controls in place. You will be a key member of the management team, working closely with the Board to develop the business and drive through commercial ideas, providing strategic and operational financial leadership.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead regional financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial reports to executive management.
  • Partner with leadership to execute strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Manage regional P&L to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Develop and monitor key operational metrics to drive financial performance.
  • Interact with the CEO to define and share business trend, corporate and function objectives and budgets.
  • Oversee regional financial close processes and consolidation of financial data for reporting. Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations.
  • Sole responsibility for setting up the finance function for one of their European entities.
  • Provide local technical accounting guidance on matters impacting the European entity, in consultation with the UK Finance Director.

Requirements:

  • European experience.
  • Knowledge and management skills of the entire controlling cycle.CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified.
  • Expertise in IFRS and consolidated.
