Due to an internal promotion my Client is recruiting for Senior Finance Manager to join our team based in Manchester in a hybrid working role. This role is integral in leading and managing these financial functions within the company. The remit is to ensure that accurate and timely financial information is provided for decision-making purposes. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. There is an opportunity to develop and streamline processes within the finance department and lead a team towards achieving financial objectives. Duties will include: - Overseeing the financial reporting process - Balancing sheet management, development, review, and reporting - Managing the internal and external audit and analysing working capital - Risk and opportunities reporting- Monthly and Year End Group reporting - controller uploads (COGNOS controller consolidation tool) - Proactive management of the internal and external audit- Non-Trading Intercompany accounting and development of the process - Management and ownership of the end-to-end IFRS 16 process across Premier Group- Analysis and reporting of working capital - Management and development of a team of 1 Within this role, there is a chance to make a significant impact on the company's financial performance and contribute to its overall success.
