NC Associates are recruiting a Finance Manager to join my client on a 6-12 month fixed term contract in there office based in Manchester City Centre in a hybrid working role.  As a Finance Manager your role is integral in leading and managing the financial functions within the company. Your remit is to ensure that accurate and timely financial information is provided for decision-making purposes. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Your day-to-day activities will include overseeing the financial reporting process, managing the internal and external audit, and analysing working capital. There is an opportunity to develop and streamline processes within the finance department and lead a team towards achieving financial objectives.

Finance Manager Accountant Benefits

• Balancing sheet management, development, review, and reporting
• Risk and opportunities reporting- Monthly and Year End Group reporting – controller uploads (COGNOS controller consolidation tool)
• Proactive management of the internal and external audit- Non-Trading Intercompany accounting and development of the process
• Management and ownership of the end-to-end IFRS 16 process across the Group- Analysis and reporting of working capital

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

Essential Experience Required

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• FMCG Experience required
• Sound demonstration of accounting knowledge
• Broad finance experience
• Strong technical skills -knows what good looks like
• Experience of strong control environments
• People management & business partnering experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working in a fast-paced team, delivering to tight deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience desirable
