Role Overview:
As a Group Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks. You will work autonomously and support the Group Health & Safety Manager (who reports to the Group Operations Director) by ensuring compliance across group operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management:
- Record and archive vehicle checks.
- Process new driver documentation, including licence verification, DVLA checks, and declaration forms.
- Perform DVLA checks on an annual basis.
- Maintain an up-to-date live matrix for all vehicles, including those hired on and off.
- Update insurance records to reflect vehicles being added or removed from hire.
- Log any speeding or parking fines.
- Network Rail Sub-Sponsorship Management:
- Manage all sub-sponsor agreements and related documentation.
- Staff Inductions & Compliance:
- Conduct inductions for all staff members and perform right-to-work checks.
- Use the designated fatigue management software to upload and monitor data.
- Data and Record Management:
- Update company matrices for railway and construction trades and skills.
- Ensure that all staff files and identification records are current and accurate.
- Office and Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee office maintenance activities, including arranging:
- PAT Testing,
- CHUBB services,
- First Aid training, and
- Fire Warden coordination.

- Additional Administrative Tasks:
- Monitor Network Rail Medical expiries, download necessary data, and schedule appropriate tests/locations.
- Coordinate and log appointments for Drugs & Alcohol testing.
- Process and manage purchase orders.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Experience in the construction or railway industries is desirable but not mandatory.
