Our client is a very well-established, small to medium sized business based in central Manchester. As part of their exciting expansion plans, they are seeking a Head of Group Risk & Compliance - this is a newly created position.The roleReporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee, you will be responsible for:
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to support the identification and management of key risks and to promote effective governance, risk management, control and assurance.
  • Developing an effective and proportionate risk framework, that aligns with the Group’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
  • Developing the internal audit and compliance methodology and plan
  • Preparing clear, concise, and timely audit reports.
  • Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Group Company boards.
  • Developing a high performing compliance and internal audit team across the business
