Our client is a very well-established, small to medium sized business based in central Manchester. As part of their exciting expansion plans, they are seeking a Head of Group Risk & Compliance - this is a newly created position.The roleReporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee, you will be responsible for:

Engaging with senior stakeholders to support the identification and management of key risks and to promote effective governance, risk management, control and assurance.
Developing an effective and proportionate risk framework, that aligns with the Group’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
Developing the internal audit and compliance methodology and plan
Preparing clear, concise, and timely audit reports.
Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Group Company boards.
Developing a high performing compliance and internal audit team across the business
