We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim Finance Director for a dynamic professional services organisation based in Manchester. This role requires a highly skilled Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in professional services experience in the legal sector would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring robust financial management and control.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic and operational financial leadership.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A Qualified Accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience in Private Equity-backed organisations is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of success in professional services; legal sector experience is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A hands-on approach with a solution-focused mindset.
