Interim Finance Director
Location: Hybrid - Manchester (2/3 days in office)
Contract: Initial 3-Month Assignment
Rate: 700 - 1,000 per day (IR35 status pending)
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim Finance Director for a dynamic professional services organisation based in Manchester. This role requires a highly skilled Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in professional services experience in the legal sector would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring robust financial management and control.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic and operational financial leadership.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
- A Qualified Accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in Private Equity-backed organisations is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of success in professional services; legal sector experience is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A hands-on approach with a solution-focused mindset.
