Key Account Manager (Residential & Second Charge Mortgages)Field-Based / Remote£45,000 - £50,000 We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to focus on identifying, building, and managing relationships with packaging partners, driving new lending opportunities in alignment with business strategy and growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and expand customer relationships within the residential mortgage and second charge markets.
  • Collaborate with internal underwriting teams to ensure high-quality service for broker partners.
  • Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders and third parties, as needed.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings with broker partners, both within and outside your designated region, to achieve personal objectives.
  • Foster excellent working relationships with broker partners, broker support, underwriting, and sales teams to deliver on business goals.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our residential mortgage and second charge product offerings, with a working understanding of other lending products.
  • Enhance the quality of loan packages by understanding packaging requirements and adhering to lending policies, improving completion times.
  • Provide training to new brokers and their teams on our products, criteria, and packaging requirements.
 Key Skills:
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and responsible lending requirements, with the ability to adhere to company policies.
  • Effectively handle inbound calls and case referrals from broker partners regarding loan applications, distributing or actioning calls as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality training on products and lending criteria to brokers and their teams, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.
  • Monitor market trends and perform competitor analysis to support product development and deepen industry knowledge.
 Required Experience:
  • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and third parties.
  • Experience in a similar role, with field-based experience being essential.
