An established specialist finance company, specialising in the bridging and short-term lending market currently requires an Operations Manager.
Following a departmental restructure, the company is now keen to welcome an Operations Manager to work closely with the streamlining and process establishment of the Operations and Underwriting Team.
Operations Manager Job Summary:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence by identifying, planning, and executing business process improvements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and implement changes to existing processes, systems, recruitment, and policies.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage change initiatives that drive operational improvements across the organisation.
- Support with the launch of new lending products, preparing systems for launch, testing of policy, processes, and training new and/or existing staff.
- Develop and deliver training programs to support adoption of new processes, policies, and systems.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure project success and identify areas for further improvement.
Operations Manager Experience:
- Comprehensive experience of the mortgage, buy-to-let or bridging markets and a thorough understanding of loan underwriting, preferably from a bridging or long-term lending environment
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of process improvement, change management and creating operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively to manage several time critical tasks at once.
- Lead, manage and develop the mortgage processing teams to deliver an excellent customer journey.
