Senior Finance Manager | Permanent | £65,000-£70,000 + bonus | Manchester (hybrid) | Marketing agency

A fast-growth marketing agency are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager based in their Manchester office, with hybrid working (2 days required in the office per week). This is an opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans, having grown from a headcount of 50 to 120 in the past 2 years, with no signs of slowing down.

This role reports to the Group Financial Controller for the group, you will take full ownership of the accounting for this agency with the support of 1 direct report. The role has significant interaction with the groups finance teams who are based internationally as well as non-finance stakeholders based in the UK. You will take ownership for the month-end reporting, fixed asset management, reconciliation work and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting under IFRS/GAAP
  • Leading on the budgeting and forecasting process for the agency
  • Management of the cashflow forecasting
  • Develop and manage one direct report
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with the consolidation of the group accounts
  • Maintain a robust controls environment, continuously looking at ways to drive process improvement across the group
  • Management of tax including monthly sales tax submission

Skill set required:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience working in a Manager level role where you have owned the accounting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Knowledge of D365 or Sage is preferred
  • Experience working for a multi-entity group is desirable
  • Experience working in a services-based business is essential
  • Proactive in nature with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced & ambitious environment
  • Willingness to work in a hands on yet strategic role
