Isio is a leading UK-based pension management company dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of pensions advisory and investment services. We have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead our Administration operations in pension services as the Head of Pensions Admin Operations.

Reporting directly to the COO, this brand-new role as Head of Pensions Admin Operations will have the critical responsibility for providing leadership in the delivery of high-performing pension administration services along with maintaining the highest standards of customer service, compliance, accuracy, and quality for all our clients.

This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of Isio's drive to define measured and clear futures for our clients' pension schemes and to make a tangible difference to our business delivery.

The ideal candidate will be based in our Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or Reading office on a hybrid basis with regular travel around our main pensions admin offices expected.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily pension administration operations.
  • Identify and drive consistent best-practice across the organisation.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality client services, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements relating to pensions administration.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the pensions administration team, promoting a culture of customer care and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationship with colleagues and clients, providing regular updates on pension administration matters.
  • Contribute to business development activities and strategic projects.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in managing DB and DC pension administration within a TPA or Consulting or in-house environment.
  • Solid understanding of current pensions legislation and regulations within the UK.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Strong customer focus and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant professional qualification would be desirable.
