BarclayMeade are recruiting for a Sales Manager / Sales Executive for a well-positioned Materials Handling business working with a variety of clients, from Online Retailers and Dockyards to FMCG and Manufacturing businesses.

With a strong presence across the North West of England the company are now looking for ambitious sales-focussed people to join the team working across the Manchester and Lancashire region, developing new business and growing the client portfolio.

We are looking for people who are already in a field sales role, ideally with a background in Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) or capital equipment sales.

You should be a confident communicator, skilled in CRM-driven prospecting, direct marketing, and managing customer needs. The position suits someone who thrives both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Represent and sell industry-leading products, along with complementary offerings such as rental options and pre-owned equipment.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports by gathering, analysing, and summarising key data.
  • Work closely with the team to align efforts and contribute to achieving collective business objectives.
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Experience Requirements

  • Expertise in using CRM software to manage and optimize sales pipelines.
  • A proven track record in identifying opportunities and successfully developing new territories.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial solutions and their application in sales scenarios.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a sales territory.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in MHE or capital equipment sales and possess the following attributes:

  • Proficient in prospecting, negotiation, and building meaningful client relationships.

This role comes with Basic Salary, company car and bonus/commission structure OTE £50,000 - £60,000
