Principal Building Surveyor
Location:Hybrid - Remote/Manchester (approximately 2 days per week)
Salary:70-80,000 + package (depending on experience)

A leading construction consultancy firm is seeking a highly experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in commercial or industrial building projects and be passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice on building surveying matters, including condition assessments, defect analysis, and valuation services.
- Managing and delivering complex building projects, from inception to completion.
- Preparing detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Negotiating contracts and resolving disputes.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related field.
- Ideally MRICS Chartered or RICS qualified
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial or industrial building surveying.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration
A competitive salary will be offered, BUPA, Life insurance, payment of RIBA fees, discretionary Bonus and contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus public holiday (plus ability to buy/sell days).
