This is the right opportunity for an individual to take the next step in their practice career, working in a firm that really values success and a healthy work-life balance, offering a supportive study package and hybrid working.Your new roleAs a semi-senior accountant, you will be responsible for taking an active role within the accounts team reporting to your manager and seniors to support the firm. Your day-to-day duties will see you preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly limited companies, SMEs and partnerships. You will also be involved with preparing management accounts, VAT returns and forecasts.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years experience working in a similar role in practice, having prepared statutory accounts for manager review. Other attributes such as team work, the willingness to learn and being a personable individual will also be desired.
