Analyst
Great opportunity to join a team of Analysts working on various Infrastructure projects.
Location: - Manchester
Hybrid:- 2 - 3 days a week in the office / 2-3 days from Home
Salary: - 40,000 - 45,000 basic
Role:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client operating across the Transportation sector. Working closely with various stakeholders including Local Authorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN, and the DfT regarding collating and utilising their Transportation data. Collating, analysing, and using the data across the Transportation planning and modelling divisions to carry out technical assurance on various schemes.
Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:
- Develop database systems - Apply knowledge and understanding of the development and design of databases to input source data for business case development.
- Have experience of transport modelling, preferably including rail, using one or more of GIS, SATURN, CUBE or VISUM.
- Experience in analysing, modelling and assessing future transport demands and networks with an emphasis on rail, highway and demand modelling.
- As directed analyse in detail existing datasets and where appropriate overlay.
Required Experience:
- Degree qualified Ideally supported by Data analytical modules
- Experience of being in a company working with data projects. Ideal in the Infrastructure sector (Rail / Highways / Water / Gas / Telecoms) as these sectors actively use GIS software.
