Are you an experienced education professional with a passion for supporting student attendance and well-being? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Attendance Assistant for a well-regarded Secondary School in Tameside.

The Role:

As an Attendance Assistant, you will play a key role in monitoring and improving student attendance. Your responsibilities will include:?? Tracking and recording daily attendance data?? Communicating with parents/carers to address absences?? Liaising with pastoral staff and external agencies?? Supporting students in overcoming attendance barriers?? Ensuring compliance with school attendance policies

Who We're Looking For:

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working in schools or the education sector. This is a non-negotiable requirement. Ideal candidates will have:? Knowledge of school attendance procedures? Strong administrative and communication skills? The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff? Experience using school management systems (e.g., SIMS) is highly desirable
