Ideal Recruit have an exciting opportunity for airline catering tean for our client based at Manchester Airport.
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking General Assistant to support our dishwash area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all food and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in line with in-flight supplies industry standards.
Shift patterns:
07:00-15:30 (4 on, 2 off) £11.44/h
10:00-18:30 (4 on, 2 off) £11.44/h
Key Responsibilities:
- Strip incoming carts of unused food and equipment.
- Segregate and load items into commercial dishwashers.
- Ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and safely.
- Remove rubbish and waste materials efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dishwash area at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational goals.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including handling of cleaning agents.
- Monitor cleanliness of equipment and ensure all items are washed to the highest standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with in-flight supplies security and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of the importance of security and hygiene in the aviation industry.
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving items.
- Full training will be provided.
