My client is currently looking for experienced litigation/housing disrepair paralegal to work in their housing disrepair team.
The candidate must have experience in handling Housing Disrepair files from start to end. The fee earner must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in handling housing disrepair cases.

Ideally you will have at least 3 years in housing disrepair, have strong knowledge of the housing disrepair protocol and be comfortable with housing disrepair litigation.
- Paralegal with minimum 3 years in housing disrepair matters
- Have a full understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair Cases
- Have a full understanding of S.11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Section 4 of the Defective Premises Act 1972, The Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, common law nuisance and negligence
- Take a pragmatic commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to litigation/cost risk - Excellent client care skills
- Be able and competent to issue proceedings in housing disrepair matters and draft cost schedules
