The Company:

An established supplier of Swimwear, Nightwear and Accessories are seeking a Merchandise Admin Assistant to join their merchandising team. With ongoing expansion of the business this is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our busy Merchandising team. You will be working alongside a team of merchandisers in a fast-paced environment, managing the production and orders for several key customers.

Alongside this, you will also have opportunity to work with other departments such as buying, technical and marketplace, allowing you to take ownership and positively impact order requirements. You will have strong data entry skills and excellent attention to detail, with a confident approach to learning new systems and processes.

Full Time/ Part Time considered

3 Month Contract with the potential to extend

The Role:

  • Working closely with our Merchandisers and Supply Chain team to provide support with data entry and general administrative duties
  • Daily communication with our factories in the far east
  • Daily communication with assigned customers
  • Create Items and raise purchase orders using Business Central ERP
  • Maintaining size ratios to ensure they are kept in line with sales
  • Maintain critical paths to ensure orders are on time, escalating delivery issues to relevant Merchandiser and Senior Merchandiser
  • Raise label orders (care labels, brand labels, price labelling)
  • Ensuring general housekeeping is completed to maintain accuracy of the order system
  • Supporting outer teams in relevant tasks or ad hoc duties

Skills Required:

  • Either graduated, due to graduate or at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Excellent administrative and organisation skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks and effectively manage your own time
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft packages - must be confident to use Excel to an intermediate or Advanced level
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop
  • Ability to work with colleagues of all levels
