Astute's Power team is exclusively partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit a Multiskilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to work at a Recycling Centre in Wythenshawe on night shifts only.
This nightshift Multiskilled Engineer role comes with a salary of 55,005 + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
* Lead mechanical tasks and support electrical maintenance where required.
* Resolve breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Perform planned maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, balers, compactors, and shredders.
* Participate in annual shutdowns and assist across multiple sites as needed.
* Mentor and support apprentices in their career development.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
* 18th Edition qualification or willingness to complete within three months of joining.
* Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
* Welding and fabrication skills.

* 55,005 per annum including shift allowance
* Benefits include 10% bonus, pension, sick pay, etc.
* Nightshifts, 6pm to 6am, 4 on 4 off.
