Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Repairs and Voids Manager for a housing association. This is a home based role, involving ad-hoc national travel to properties when required, and travel to Greater Manchester approximately once per week. The salary is £50,000, plus £5,000 car allowance.

The role:

  • Provide a high quality, client side responsive repairs service
  • Manage contractors to ensure they are meeting KPIs, delivering works to a high standard and providing value for money
  • Ensure repairs are completed within target, right first time and to a high quality
  • Interrogate data to ensure the service is operating efficiently and effectively, initiating improvement plans where necessary
  • Review financial performance of the service alongside ongoing supplier contracts to ensure value for money is being delivered

What you need:

  • Experience of leading a reactive maintenance service in a residential environment, ideally social housing
  • Understanding of repairs diagnosis and solutions
  • Strong contract management skills
  • Full driving licence
