Sub Agent - Projects
We are currently looking to recruit a Sub Agent to join our Projects Team on a 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on highway-based projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.

• Contract Length: 6 months
• Day Rate: 400-450 per day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: North West - Didsbury M60 Project

• Oversee and manage on-site highway-based projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support the Site Agent/Project Manager in developing construction programmes and methodologies.
• Monitor site activities against target programmes, reporting any exceptions or delays.
• Assist in the preparation of Construction Phase Plans and method statements, ensuring safe systems of work are in place.
• Manage risks effectively on-site and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensure all site personnel, including subcontractors, are competent and fully trained.
• Liaise with commercial teams, designers, and site teams to manage any changes.
• Attend client meetings to provide progress updates and resolve any project-related issues.
• Supervise night operations when required and provide shift reports.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings for site operatives.
• Maintain site records, including photographs, site diaries, and as-built drawings.
• Act as a key contact for public liaison and stakeholder engagement.

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• CSCS (Supervisor Card).
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising highway improvement and public realm work.
• Knowledge of health and safety management and CDM regulations.
• Experience managing staff, workforce, and subcontractors.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of budget and cost control.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
