Senior Health and Safety Consultant

Job Description:

As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and supporting our clients to ensure their projects are delivered safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will manage a diverse portfolio of schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert health and safety advice, guidance, and consultancy services across various projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety management systems tailored to client needs.
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive health and safety reports, action plans, and recommendations.
• Lead health and safety training sessions and toolbox talks for clients and their teams.
• Support clients with incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Advise on CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations and act as the Principal Designer when required.
• Keep up to date with industry developments and changes in health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, offering proactive and practical solutions to health and safety challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations, risk management, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Proven track record in managing multiple projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.
• Experience in delivering health and safety training and workshops.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the North West.
