Are you an Experienced Registered Manager of Domiciliary Care? If so, we’ve got a great opportunity to be part of something new and help to build a busy and thriving business. My client has recently secured CQC registration to provide quality-focused domiciliary care within Manchester and East Cheshire and are looking for a Registered Manager to join them. It’s a great challenge to be part of something new, you’ll be able to create processes within the business to how you see best, recruit your own team of staff rather than inherit, set the bar in terms of care quality and delivery and feel proud of what you achieve as the business grows and flourishes.

You’ll be working with the Nominated Individual and initially you’ll need to be willing to 'wear many hats’ as you assume responsibility for all aspects of managing the domiciliary care; new client assessment, creating care plans, recruiting and managing staff, coordinating the rota and ensuring that all documentation and employment checks meet CQC compliance. As the business grows you’ll be able to take on supervisory staff such as a Care Coordinator/FCS.

The Registered Manager Role

They have marketing plans in place, and somebody employed who will manage the general marketing, but you’ll help raise the profile of the company in the community. They’ll be targeting private work, attracting clients who are paying for their own care and so you’ll attend home visits to assess people’s needs and formulate care plans.

· · Management of the care packages and staff.

· Manage CQC compliance

· Recruit an office team to assist you; It’s a great chance to build a team of people you choose specifically, rather than inheriting one already built.

· Deliver a top-quality care provision within the private market

Who would this role suit?

· It’s Absolutely Essential that you’re an Experienced Registered Manager who has managed a domiciliary care branch previously.

· You’ll also ideally have experience of managing private business - it is very different to managing local authority contract and we need somebody who understands the nuances.

· Driver with own vehicle
