Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist Art teacher to support a prestigious private school located in the Manchester city centre.

This is a temporary supply teaching role to cover an absent Art teacher on a part time basis.

The Role

Teacher of Art and Design from Year 9 to A level

3.5 days a week

Monday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm ( 2 hour lunch break)

Tuesday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm ( 2 hour lunch break)

Thursday 8.30am to 12.30pm

Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm ( 2 hour lunch break)

Delivery of fine art, photography, ceramics, textiles and multimedia creative projects with a focus on innovative practical lessons

As the sole art teacher in a small school an excellent knowledge of Art teaching is essential.

(For this reason, this role is not suitable for an Art ECT)

The School

Prestigious private school for creative arts and performance.

Students aged 8 to 16 study music and performance alongside core subjects such as English, maths science and humanities.

The school's focus is on academic achievement through the disciplined study of music.

While many students go on to achieve in the arts, many go on to successful careers in other areas.

Hold QTS Status or QTLS or ECT status.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
