Role: Criminology Lecturer Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary Rate of pay: £30 - £33 per hour Location: Greater Manchester Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Criminology Lecturer to join a leading Further Education College in the Greater Manchester area, This is a full time, temporary role where the successful candidate will teach BTEC Criminology to motivated students. You'll play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons, guiding students through complex topics, and supporting their academic progress as they prepare for careers in criminal justice, law, and related fields. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in BTEC Criminology * Support students understanding of criminological concepts, research methods, and case studies * Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students, fostering a positive learning environment * Develop lesson plans and course materials in line with BTEC requirements and standards * Engage in collaborative curriculum planning and program reviews to enhance the quality of teaching Essential Criteria: * A degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a related field * Teaching experience, ideally with Further Education or BTEC qualifications * A recognised teaching qualification * Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners A current DBS is also needed for this role, if you do not have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
