We are seeking a GCSE English Lecturer for a fantastic college in Rochdale. This role involves a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, on a temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching GCSE English, focusing on improving student outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons that focus on improving student outcomes.
- Utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Support studentsā academic and personal growth through effective teaching strategies and mentorship.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and refine English curriculum and teaching resources.
- Extensive experience in teaching GCSE English.
- A full teaching qualification at level 5 or above, such as a PGCE or Cert Ed.
- Proficiency in utilising innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
- Strong ability to assess and support studentsā progress effectively.
