Sennen Education are recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a excellent primaryschool in Chorlton, Manchester. The role will be supporting children in in year 5 and year 6 with varied SEND. The children have Autism and communication difficulties. You would be joining a team whose aim is to provide the best educational, care and transition pathways for children and young people who experience difficulties with learning. Thepostisongoing for a full academic yearsubject to the relevant checks being completed.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Trafford

Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Teaching Support

Start date - September 2024

Contract type - Temporary Full time, potentially becoming permanent from July.

Rate of pay up to - 115 per day

Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)

Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

You will also need to be up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education or be willing to undertake additional training

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
