Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of a state of the art college based in the Cheshire area. They have an exciting opportunity to join their existing team to support the delivery of high quality science based courses across the College.

The Role: Lecturer in Science & HE
  • Joining the Science & HE team to deliver inspiring teaching and learning.
  • To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
  • To assess accurately learners work both formatively and summatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
  • To support the Centre Principals in promoting and planning high standards of teaching, learning and assessment within the curriculum area to ensure high levels of learner achievement, satisfaction, progression and high grades outcomes
  • To support with the delivery of an agreed set of KPIs
  • To support the implementation and tracking of quality improvement activities to support the curriculum area needs
  • To support improvement targets for learner attendance across all elements of the study programme.
  • Working as part of an existing team to support the delivery of high-quality science-based courses across the College

Ideal candidates:
  • Suitable applicants must possess a relevant Degree or equivalent qualification to at least Level 6
  • A Teaching Qualification to the required national standards
