Teachwise is currently looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant for a mainstream primary school based in Manchester. The role is due to begin on 28/04/2025 and is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis until the summer.
The position will involve supporting a pupil in year 4 with autism on a 1-1 basis. Previous experience working with primary age pupils is essential and experience working with pupils with SEND, especially autism is preferred.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- A calm and patient demeanour
- Experience working with pupil with autism
- Experience working with primary age pupils
- Ability to work on a 1-1 basis
- Passionate about raising standards
- Available from 28/04/2025 on a full-time basis
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
