We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our social housing properties. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring safe, well-maintained, and supportive housing environments for vulnerable and low-income residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of social housing properties, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and tenant rights
  • Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair work
  • Handle tenant applications, screening, and allocation of housing units
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and providing supportive interventions
  • Manage rental collections, lease agreements, and financial aspects of housing management
  • Collaborate with social services, community organizations, and local authorities to support tenant well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each property and tenant
  • Implement tenant support programs and community engagement initiatives
  • Ensure properties meet accessibility and inclusivity standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in social housing or property management
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and tenant rights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
